2 Months Old!

Jack turned two months old last Friday.  I danced around like a fool trying to get him to smile for his 2 month picture while Jesse manned the camera.  Being that the Giants are still in the pennant race, I thought it appropriate to dress him in some Giants garb, even though it's a bit too big on him.

He didn't seem too interested in smiling for his chair picture, but he was all smiles on the changing table a few minutes later...

And then he was shy once again for a rare picture with mom...

2 month highlights include lots more smiles, the beginnings of an adorable laugh, and more spit up than I care to talk about.  Our pediatrician describes Jack as a "happy spitter."  At least one of us doesn't seem to mind it.

The little bean has also found his hands and enjoys sucking on them.  His neck is getting much stronger and it's fun to sit him on our laps to play with him and let him look around.  In the sleep arena, Jack is starting to sleep for 6 to 8 hour stretches at night.  This is a recently acquired skill, and I'm hoping we can build on it. 

As of two weeks ago, our little chunk was weighing in at 12lbs 1oz.  I'm guessing that by now, he's over 13 pounds.  He graduated to size 2 diapers last week, which made me a little sad... he's growing up so fast!
