I've been taking a lot of videos on my new iPad (awesome Mothers Day gift from my dear hubby!), but I couldn't figure out a way to easily post the videos to my blog without created a YouTube account. So I finally just created one. Here's what my beloved beanstalk followers have missed over the past few weeks:
Jack LOVES the boppy pillow that I use to nurse him. If I could let him loose in a room full of cushions and pillows, he would be in heaven.
Beep-Beep! I got Jack a ride-on car toy that doubles as a push cart. I thought he'd like it since he's always trying to cruise around while standing up next to things. This was his first introduction to the new toy.
The little bean loves bath time! The only parts he doesn't like are getting his hands washed and getting out of the tub (okay, sink). One of his favorite bath time activities is trying to drink the water from the faucet.
Reading books has become one of Jack's favorite things. For a while there, we were a little concerned that his only interest in books was to eat the pages. But he rarely does that anymore. Although I wouldn't put it past him to sneak a taste when no one is looking. He definitely knows what his books are and we think he is even trying to say the word book. When you ask him "Jack, where's your book?" he (sometimes) crawls over to it and says "Bap!" I'm guessing that "book" will be his first word. Either that or "bus." Here he is enjoying a bedtime story with Dad. So sweet!
Jack is starting to point at things, and although he often looks more like the Karate Kid than a baby pointing, we know what he's trying to do. Watch out Cobra Kai, here comes the Crane Kick!
