11 Months Old!

*Jack's 11 month birthday fell on the same day we moved into our new house, so we actually took the chair picture a day early.  He was of course one day cuter on his actual 11 month birthday.  We've been really busy getting settled and I have some beanstalk updating to do, but for now, this short post will have to do...

The biggest milestone this month was Jack's first steps.  He's still really wobbly and hesitant to take steps on his own, but he's slowly getting better and has worked up to about 5 consecutive steps (the last two or three of which are completely off balance).  He has 6 teeth with a 7th on it's way in.  Everything is "Ba!"  "Ba" when he wakes up in the morning, "Ba" when he points at the light, "Ba" when he wants more water, "Ba" when he says hi to a stranger in the grocery store, "Ba" when he shows me his toys.  Ba, ba, ba, ba, ba!!! 

It was sad to leave our apartment in the city... so many great memories there.  But we are absolutely loving our new house in Lafayette!  Jack has his very own room with a closet and a door and the whole shebang.  He loves playing outside and I think we're both enjoying the warm weather.  Jesse and I are looking forward all the fun times ahead in our new home!
