Jesse's firm hosted a ski trip at Kirkwood this weekend for all the attorneys and their families. We were so excited to take Jack to the snow for the first time! We bought him all the necessary gear, including a snow suit, gloves and a sled, and borrowed some boots. We had a pretty smooth trip up there, but things turned south the first night when Jack threw up all over me at the restaurant, and then again that night in his crib. He would hardly eat, wasn't sleeping well, and was (obviously) in a grumpy mood all day on Saturday. We think the poor guy had altitude sickness.
Needless to say, he did not appreciate the snow, feared the sled, and loathed his snow suit. We had planned, packed and made the 3 hour trip, so we were determined to get Jack out in the snow for at least a little while. These pictures pretty much sum up the level of fun we achieved. We ended up driving home on Saturday night to end the torture. We'll try again next year.
