Jack got into Halloween this year. He was really excited about wearing his costume and his Halloween shirt, though he did get a little confused as to the difference. When I put his Halloween shirt on to wear to school, he told me he needed his golf clubs. That Jack... always thinking.
We had a cookie decorating party at school on Wednesday morning. Jack went as Jackula so as to not ruin his unwashable Halloween costume. He did a little cookie decorating and a lot of frosting licking. He seemed to favor the black sprinkles. I tried to get a pic of each his classmates, but one of the boys was out sick that day.

We practiced trick-or-treating with Jack earlier in the week, so by Wednesday night he was ready to go. We limited our Halloween celebration to the annual Vals Lane trick-or-treating party. It was the perfect amount of action for Jack. He loved following all the older kids from door to door collecting treats. He always waited for the other kids to get their treats before getting his, and seemed to remember most of his "trick-or-treats" and "thank yous." I got him the smallest treat bag I could find, and he managed to fill it to the brim. Fortunately, he had forgotten about the candy by the next morning, so he technically has yet to eat any of his loot. Unfortunately, Jesse and I haven't forgotten about it and have managed to make a good dent in it. Jack was the cutest darn golfer I've ever seen. Too bad it's so hard to get a picture of him these days.
