10 Months Old!

Claire has been 10 months old for a couple weeks now.  So I thought, hey, maybe I'll write a blog post about that!

This month has been one of many milestones for our sweet baby girl.  She started crawling, waving and pulling herself up to standing.  She also points once in a while.  Her favorite places to explore in the house are the bathrooms.  If she takes off crawling, she's usually going to one of three places... the waste basket in my bathroom, the step stool in the kids' bathroom or the play kitchen, where she loves to open and close the "washing machine" door, putting dish towels in and taken them out. 

She's growing increasingly independent with her eating... starting to prefer finger foods over being spoon fed.  She also seems to have gone through a big growth spurt during the past month.  Chunking up for swimsuit season!

Despite the dramatic shows she puts on when other people are around, she is such a precious, sweet and happy baby.  She's a complete mama's girl, but also loves daddy and is obsessed with Jack.  She's also very entertained by other babies and kids.  Hopefully soon she will warm up to her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  But in the meantime, I'll keep enjoying all the love.
