11 Months Old!

March, 2014

This loveable little peanut is less than a month away from her first birthday, and the party-planning is in full swing! Time is flying by.  There haven't been too many big changes this month, but she does make a noise that sounds and awful lot like "Jack!"  She also covers her face, then uncovers it and says "boo" in a quiet, high, sweet little voice. She's learned to plop herself down from standing to sitting with a little more grace, but it could still use some fine tuning.

I've shared a lot of her smiles in pictures, but rest-assured, this little girl knows how to express dissatisfaction.  She's going to be a stubborn one (like everyone else in this house). She's grown much more independent with eating... wants to feed herself almost exclusively. She's not scheduled to see the doc again until she turns 1, so I don't know exactly how big she is, but she still appears to being going thru a growth spurt.

She still has just 4 teeth... almost cut it down to 3 a few weeks ago with a weird fall that left one of her bottom front teeth sticking almost straight out.  I pushed it back in place and it appears to have tightened back up, but it's still a bit crooked. 

The Bear doesn't seem too close to walking yet, but I'm hoping she can figure it out before we leave for Hawaii next month so she doesn't burn her little hands and knees on the hot ground. :) And so she can wear all her cute dresses, of course.  The trick will then be to find some shoes that fit her tiny little feet.  I had her measured the other day and she's about a 2 1/4. Most shoes start at size 3 or 4.
